The Kargil war between India & Pakistan extended over 60 days, and India defeated Pakistan, victory was for India and Kargil Vijay Diwas was named after the success of Operation Vijay and it has been celebrated every year on 26 July to honor the Kargil War soldiers. TVS conducted ‘Kargil Calling –Ride for the Real Stars’ to celebrate the contribution of Indian Defense Forces and they introduced a special Kargil Vijay Diwas Edition Star City. The special edition model is finished in a green and white color combination with special graphics and ‘Kargil’ written on the pillion seat. TVS invited everyone; one doesn't need to have a TVS bike to be part of the ride. The ride will cover 4,250 km across 8 states in 20 days and conclude at Kargil War Memorial in Dras.
